What is Jammings?
Jammings is more than just a place to practice; it's a community built on a shared passion for music and a belief in collective growth.
Our Story
Jammings was born out of a simple need: a place to play music. Our founder was a 16-year-old with no money for expensive DJ gear and no place to practice. The solution came through Kavka, a youth center in Antwerp, where he was allowed to use professional equipment. He returned every single Wednesday, and a community began to form.
Our Philosophy
From the beginning, Jammings embraced peer-to-peer learning. There were no teachers, no rigid rules—just DJs supporting DJs, experimenting, and sharing knowledge. Jammings is built on community knowledge and collective growth, driven by passion and community spirit.
Our Space
Our home is Kavka Oudaan, in the heart of Antwerp. Every Wednesday, from 14:00 to 22:00, the space is fully equipped with professional gear—including CDJ-2000s, a DJM-900 mixer, and Technics turntables on request. Just bring your music and your curiosity.
